How long is the Latvian sauna ritual?
The Latvian sauna ritual lasts approximately 4 hours. This authentic wellness experience in Latvia will leave you deeply relaxed, rejuvenated, and harmonized with nature.
Can I choose a male or female sauna master?
Yes – when booking your traditional Latvian sauna experience, you can specify your preference for a male or female sauna master, ensuring a comfortable and personalized spa ritual.
What should I bring to the sauna ritual?
You may bring rubber slippers if you want. Wearing a swimsuit is optional – the Latvian sauna ritual is more comfortable and traditional without clothing. If you prefer to wear one, we recommend a two-piece swimsuit for women and short swim trunks for men, to allow better access for herbal treatments and bodywork.
Do I have to be naked during the ritual?
You may choose to wear a swimsuit or be naked. Experiencing the sauna ritual nude is more natural and recommended for full benefits. During the ritual, the sauna master will cover intimate areas with herbal whisks, maintaining comfort and privacy throughout the healing process.
Can I participate in the sauna ritual if I have allergies or health conditions?
Yes. Please inform us about any health issues or allergies when booking. The sauna master will carefully select appropriate herbs and treatments for a safe, relaxing, and fully personalized sauna session.
What is the temperature during the sauna ritual?
The ritual in the Latvian sauna begins at around 35–40°C and gradually increases up to 80°C, following traditional Latvian bathhouse practices designed to stimulate circulation and detoxification.
Do I have to pay in full when booking the ritual?
To confirm your reservation, a €50 deposit is required. The remaining amount is paid in cash after the ritual. This ensures your place in this unique sauna experience in Riga or Latvia.
Is the deposit refundable if I cancel the booking?
Yes – your €50 deposit will be refunded if you cancel at least 2 weeks before your scheduled sauna session. Late cancellations are non-refundable.
How can I receive a gift card or product purchased on the website?
